Skin boosters are injectable hydrating treatments — typically based on hyaluronic acid and skin-supporting ingredients — placed in tiny amounts across the skin rather than in one spot. Unlike filler, they don’t add shape or volume. They improve skin quality from within: hydration, elasticity, and glow.

Benefits

  • Deep, lasting hydration that creams can’t achieve alone
  • Improves skin elasticity and firmness
  • Softens fine crepey texture, especially on face, neck, and hands
  • Restores a healthy, rested glow
  • Complements Botox and filler in an overall skin plan

Who it’s for

Anyone whose skin looks dull, dehydrated, or crepey despite a good routine, who prefers subtle, gradual improvement over obvious change. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or over active skin infections or breakouts.

What to expect

After assessment and consent, numbing cream is applied, followed by a series of tiny injections across the area — about 30–45 minutes. Small raised bumps at each point are normal and settle within 24–48 hours. A course of sessions spaced a few weeks apart is usually recommended for best effect, followed by maintenance.

Most plans start with 2–3 sessions a few weeks apart, then maintenance every 6 months.

Before & after your visit

  • Before: Arrive with clean skin; tell Jennifer about any recent treatments, infections, or cold sores.
  • After: Keep the area clean, skip makeup until the next day, and avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and active skincare (retinoids, acids) for 24–48 hours.
  • Downtime: Tiny bumps and possible small bruises for 1–2 days.
  • Results: Hydration improves within 1–2 weeks; texture and elasticity build over a course of treatments.
  • Duration: Typically around 6 months after a course, varying by product and skin condition.
  • Risks: Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, itching; rarely, infection or small nodules.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from filler?
Filler adds volume in specific spots; boosters spread hydration through the skin itself and don’t change your features.

How many sessions do I need?
Most plans start with 2–3 sessions a few weeks apart, then maintenance every 6 months.

Does it hurt?
Numbing cream makes the tiny injections quite tolerable.

Can I combine it with Botox or filler?
Yes — boosters are often the ‘skin quality’ layer of a combined plan.

When will I see a difference?
Subtle glow within a couple of weeks, best after the full course.
