A focused 15-minute virtual visit for women’s health concerns and questions — contraception, cycle issues, screening, symptoms you’d like assessed, or deciding what needs an in-person examination. A short visit designed to give you clear answers and next steps.
Women’s Health covers a wide range of concerns, including contraception counselling and prescriptions.
Benefits
- Quick access to an NP for women’s health questions
- Contraception counselling and prescriptions when appropriate
- Screening advice (Pap, mammogram) matched to your age and history
- Clear guidance on what needs in-person assessment
- Referrals arranged when specialist care is needed
Who it’s for
Women with a specific concern or decision to work through in a short visit. You must be located in Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, or Prince Edward Island at the time of the visit. Urgent symptoms (severe pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, possible pregnancy complications) need urgent in-person care, not a virtual visit.
What to expect
Book, complete a brief intake describing your concern, and meet Jennifer by video for 15 minutes. Outcomes may include advice, a prescription to your pharmacy, lab requisitions, or a referral — plus a clear plan if anything needs follow-up.
Recommended sessions
Most concerns get a plan in the single visit.
Before & after your visit
- Before: Note your last menstrual period, current contraception, medications, and screening history if relevant.
- After: Follow the agreed plan; book any follow-up or in-person exam recommended.
- Downtime: None — virtual visit.
- Results: Most concerns get a plan in the single visit.
- Limits: Some women’s health issues require a physical exam or testing that can’t be done virtually — Jennifer will tell you plainly and help arrange it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get contraception prescribed?
Yes, when appropriate after a short health screening.
Can you order a Pap test?
Pap tests are done in person; Jennifer can advise on timing and arrange in-person options or referrals.
Is 15 minutes enough?
For a focused concern, yes. Complex or multiple issues may need a longer or follow-up visit — menopause concerns are better served by the dedicated 30-minute Menopause Consultation.
Which provinces?
You must be located in ON, BC, SK, or PEI at the time of the visit.
Is it private-pay?
Yes; receipts are provided, and some extended plans cover NP services.
