Our IV Wellness Infusion delivers a blend of hydration and vitamins directly into your bloodstream — bypassing the digestive system so your body can use them right away. It is a popular option for energy, immune support, hydration, recovery, and overall wellness, including after travel, illness, or a period of stress. Needles and drips are administered by Jennifer, Nurse Practitioner.

IV therapy is provided in person at our Brampton practice.

Benefits

  • Faster hydration than drinking water alone
  • Nutrients delivered straight to your bloodstream
  • Supports energy, immune function, and recovery
  • May help with fatigue, jet lag, and post-workout tiredness
  • A calm, comfortable in-practice experience

Who it’s for

Adults seeking hydration, a wellness boost, or support during recovery — for example, after travel, illness, or a demanding period. Not suitable for everyone: people with kidney or heart failure, certain electrolyte disorders, or recent IV reactions must be screened carefully before treatment, and your medical history will be reviewed.

What to expect

We will ask you about your medical history and check your blood pressure; a small cannula is placed in your arm, and the drip runs for approximately 30–60 minutes. You can relax in a reclined chair, read, and listen to music. Follow-up depends on your reasons for coming; some people book monthly.

Before & after your visit

  • Before: Eat a light meal and drink water before your appointment; bring a list of your medications and tell us about any recent reactions to drips or vitamins.
  • After: Drink water and rest. A little tenderness or bruising at the cannula site is normal.
  • Downtime: None.
  • Results: Effects vary — some people notice a boost within hours, others feel nothing dramatic; the benefit is individual and may be cumulative over a course.
  • Duration: Varies by person and depends on how the infusion fits into your overall health.
  • Risks: Vein irritation, bruising, and — very rarely — infection at the insertion site, vitamin or mineral overload, or allergic reactions. Risks will be explained at assessment.
