Latisse® (bimatoprost 0.03%) is a Health Canada–approved prescription treatment for inadequate eyelashes (hypotrichosis). Applied once nightly along the upper lash line, it helps lashes grow longer, fuller, and darker over time. Because it is a prescription medication, it starts with a virtual assessment with Jennifer.

Benefits

  • Your own lashes, longer, fuller, and darker
  • No extensions, adhesives, or salon maintenance
  • Simple once-nightly at-home application
  • Prescription properly screened by a Nurse Practitioner
  • After assessment, you choose: supply through Diamond, or a prescription sent to your own pharmacy

Who it’s for

Adults whose lashes are naturally sparse or have thinned, who can commit to nightly application for several months. It’s not for everyone: eye conditions (such as glaucoma or eye inflammation), eye surgery history, and certain medications must be reviewed at assessment. Not for use during pregnancy. You must be located in Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, or Prince Edward Island at the time of the assessment visit.

What to expect

Book the virtual assessment (15 minutes). Jennifer reviews your eye history and medications, explains correct application and realistic timelines, and — if Latisse is appropriate — arranges supply: either provided through Diamond Aesthetics or prescribed to your pharmacy, your choice. Most people see visible improvement by about 8 weeks, with full effect around 16 weeks of nightly use.

Visible improvement by about 8 weeks; full effect around 16 weeks of nightly use. Maintenance use is ongoing — if you stop, lashes gradually return to their previous appearance over weeks to months.

Before & after your visit

  • Before: Have your eye history and medication list ready for the assessment; contact-lens wearers should note that lenses are removed before application and can be reinserted after about 15 minutes.
  • After starting: Apply once nightly to the upper lash line only, with a sterile applicator; blot excess. Using more, or more often, doesn’t speed results.
  • Downtime: None.
  • Results: Begin around 8 weeks; full effect ~16 weeks. If you stop, lashes gradually return to their previous appearance over weeks to months — maintenance use is ongoing.
  • Risks to discuss at assessment: Temporary eye redness or itching, eyelid skin darkening (usually reversible), and — rarely — darkening of the iris (coloured part of the eye), which may be permanent. These are exactly why Latisse is prescription-only and screened.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need an assessment for a lash serum?
Because it’s a real medication with real eye-related risks — the screening protects your vision and confirms it’s appropriate for you.

How do I get the product after assessment?
Your choice: supplied through Diamond Aesthetics, or a prescription sent to your pharmacy.

What if I wear lash extensions?
Latisse grows your natural lashes; discuss timing and compatibility with extensions at your assessment.

Can I use it on my lower lashes or brows?
It’s approved for the upper lash line; any other use is off-label and would need a specific discussion with Jennifer.

What happens if I stop using it?
Your lashes gradually return to their natural cycle and previous appearance.
