A quick 15-minute virtual visit to review and renew eligible prescriptions. Jennifer reviews what you’re taking, why, and how you’re doing on it, then sends the refill to your pharmacy when it’s safe and appropriate to do so.

Benefits

  • Fast, convenient renewals without a waiting room
  • A real medication review — not an automatic rubber stamp
  • Refills sent directly to your pharmacy
  • Dose or side-effect concerns addressed at the same time
  • Documentation in your record

Who it’s for

Patients on stable, ongoing medications due for renewal. You must be located in Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, or Prince Edward Island at the time of the visit. Some medications cannot be refilled virtually — notably controlled substances (such as opioids and certain stimulants) and medications requiring recent labs or examination; if yours falls in that category, Jennifer will explain the safe route instead.

What to expect

Provide your medication list and pharmacy details when booking. In the 15-minute visit, Jennifer confirms the medication is still right for you, checks for issues, and sends the refill electronically where appropriate.

Same-visit decision in most cases.

Before & after your visit

  • Before: Book before you run out — ideally with a few days of medication left. Have the exact medication names and doses, plus your pharmacy’s name/location.
  • After: Confirm with your pharmacy that the refill arrived before you go to collect it.
  • Downtime: None — virtual visit.
  • Results: Same-visit decision in most cases.
  • Limits: If you’ve had side effects, your condition has changed, or monitoring is overdue, the refill may be adjusted, shortened, or paused pending labs or an exam — that’s safe prescribing, and it will be explained.

Frequently asked questions

Can any prescription be refilled this way?
No — controlled substances and some monitored medications require in-person care or your regular prescriber.

What if I’m a new patient?
Possible for many medications, with records or pharmacy verification as needed.

How many medications can we cover?
A few stable medications fit a 15-minute visit; complex lists may need a Primary Care Visit or follow-up.

Which provinces?
You must be located in ON, BC, SK, or PEI at the time of the visit.

What if my refill is refused?
You’ll be told exactly why and what the safe alternative is (labs, exam, or your own provider).
