A 15-minute virtual visit for everyday primary care needs: new minor concerns, prescription questions, lab reviews, referrals, and care coordination — with a Nurse Practitioner who takes a whole-person view. It’s primary care access without the waiting room, for concerns that can be handled safely by video.

Benefits

  • Timely access for common concerns
  • Prescriptions, lab requisitions, and referrals arranged when appropriate
  • Continuity — your visit is documented and follow-up is planned
  • Honest triage: if you need hands-on care, you’ll be told and directed
  • Convenient if you’re located anywhere in ON, BC, SK, or PEI at visit time

Who it’s for

Adults with non-urgent concerns suited to virtual care — things like minor infections, skin concerns that can be seen on camera, medication questions, or results reviews. Emergencies (chest pain, breathing difficulty, stroke symptoms, severe injury) are never for virtual care: call 911 or go to emergency.

What to expect

Book online, complete intake forms describing your concern, and join your 15-minute video visit. Jennifer will assess, advise, and arrange prescriptions, labs, or referrals as needed, and document the visit in your record.

Most concerns get a plan in one visit; lab-based decisions follow once results return.

Before & after your visit

  • Before: Have your health card details (for identification), medication list, and pharmacy information ready.
  • After: Follow the plan; complete any labs or referrals arranged and book follow-up if advised.
  • Downtime: None — virtual visit.
  • Results: Most concerns get a plan in one visit; lab-based decisions follow once results return.
  • Limits: Virtual assessment has real limits — no hands to examine you. Some concerns will be redirected to in-person care, and that’s the safe call, not a brush-off.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of problems fit a 15-minute visit?
One focused concern: a minor illness, a medication question, a results review, a form or referral need.

Can you be my regular primary care provider?
These visits handle episodic primary care needs; Jennifer will discuss ongoing arrangements during your visit if you’re looking for continuity.

Do you prescribe controlled substances?
Prescribing follows NP standards; some medications cannot be initiated virtually and will be discussed honestly if relevant.

Which provinces?
You must be located in ON, BC, SK, or PEI at the time of the visit.

What if my concern turns out to need an exam?
You’ll be directed to appropriate in-person care, and your visit notes will reflect the plan.
